The World, a luxury residential ship, has revealed its 2025 global voyage, which will traverse five oceans and six continents, according to a company announcement.

The journey begins in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and concludes in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, with nearly 100 port visits along the way.

The 2025 itinerary takes guests along the western U.S. coast, through the Sea of Cortez, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and parts of Africa. After ringing in the New Year in Cabo San Lucas, the ship will sail along the U.S. West Coast before heading south to Mexico for an expedition in the Sea of Cortez.

During this leg of the journey, passengers will experience the rugged beauty of remote islands and landscapes dotted with giant cacti. Activities on offer include hiking, snorkeling, diving, and exploring coastlines by Zodiac or sea kayak. Expert guides and marine biologists will enhance the experience with educational insights into the unique marine environment.

In March, the voyage continues through the Caribbean, with stops in Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, the Grenadines, and the Lesser Antilles.

The ship will then cross the Atlantic, visiting the Canary Islands, Funchal, and Casablanca, before embarking on a Mediterranean tour that includes Italy, Malta, France, Spain, and Portugal. The South Atlantic leg will feature explorations of Namibia and South Africa.

Between September and November, two significant expeditions are planned: one to Madagascar to discover its extraordinary wildlife and habitats, and another to West Papua focused on marine and ecological exploration.

The year will conclude with the holiday season celebrated in Sydney and New Year festivities in Hobart, Tasmania.
