Royal Caribbean Hires Another Popular 'Chief Dog Officer'

Set to launch in August 2025, Royal Caribbean's Star of the Seas will introduce a new family dog onboard, delighting both crew and guests. 

The golden retriever, named Sailor, will become the cruise line's second onboard dog, following the success of Rover, the "Chief Dog Officer" aboard the Icon of the Seas, who joined the fleet in January 2024. 

The addition of Sailor to the company's second Icon Class ship comes in response to Rover's significant popularity, as noted in a company statement.
