RED Hospitality and Leisure has announced its entry into the cruise industry, according to a company statement.

Known for providing luxury watersports and resort services, RED plans to expand its offerings by providing shore excursions to cruise passengers at various ports in the Americas.

“As demand for cruising continues to grow, the need for additional shore excursion operators does as well, driven by cruise passengers and travelers alike who continue to seek out local experiences,” the company stated.

Currently, RED Hospitality operates a fleet of over 90 vessels, offering daily tours and activities for leisure and group travelers at locations including Key West, St. Thomas, St. John, Maui, and Turks and Caicos.

"RED is thrilled to expand our footprint from the traditional operating model servicing world-class resort guests, by further extending our offerings to the cruise ship industry. Our teams deliver exceptional experiences to guests every day, which allows them to explore the local areas both above and below sea level, immersing them into the region they’re visiting,” said Jason Campbell, Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at RED.

He also mentioned, “Additionally, we believe our robust development pipeline, which consists of six additional catamarans we have under construction, will allow us to scale further with our global cruise line partners as they continue to deliver and deploy more world-class vessels to our destinations.”

RED’s unique hospitality services are provided on custom-built, 65-foot catamarans designed to accommodate up to 100 passengers. Their itineraries include visits to local coral reefs for snorkeling, sunset sails, and plated dinner cruises featuring premium open bars.

The company has already started its new shore excursion program in Florida, with plans to launch similar services in Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands later this quarter.
