Moroccan Navy Rescues Two Stranded Ships in Urgent Mission

On January 28, the Moroccan Navy carried out two separate rescue operations after receiving distress signals from the vessels Linden and Tai Hua Wan. Both ships had crew members in urgent need of medical assistance, and the swift response from the Navy ensured their safety.
The Linden first issued a distress call after experiencing engine failure, leaving it adrift approximately 2.5 kilometers off the port of Mohammedia, Morocco. Two crew members aboard the ship were reported to be in critical medical condition.
Shortly after, the Tai Hua Wan also requested assistance, with reports indicating that crew members on board required medical attention. Responding immediately, the Royal Moroccan Navy deployed two helicopters to evacuate the injured personnel from both vessels. The rescued crew members were quickly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
In addition to the aerial evacuation, Navy vessels were sent to aid the distressed ships, ensuring they received the necessary support. The coordinated efforts of the Moroccan Navy played a crucial role in preventing further escalation of both incidents.
