Westwood Shipping Lines, known for its specialized vessel operations between the Pacific Northwest and Northeast Asia, has recently been rebranded as Swire Shipping. This change follows Swire Shipping's acquisition of Westwood in June 2022.

This strategic move aims to consolidate Swire Shipping’s services across key regions, including Japan, North America, South Korea, and China, under a unified brand.

In an effort to integrate operations within Swire Shipping’s larger global network, seven ships from Swire Shipping's own fleet will now serve the former Westwood routes. Significantly, four of these vessels will continue to carry the Westwood name and display their distinctive green hulls, honoring Westwood's 130-year heritage.

Additionally, Swire Shipping has recently established a new office in Tokyo, further expanding its global footprint.
