Eidesvik, the owner of offshore vessels based in Norway, has secured a contract extension for the Viking Lady, a platform supply vessel (PSV), from Aker BP.

The contract extension spans from February 2025, directly following the current contract and extending the firm period until February 2026.

The oil and gas company initially secured the contract for the PSV in 2021, with a three-year time charter that commenced in January 2022. Aker BP was also provided with options for further extensions as part of the arrangement.

“We are very happy to continue our collaboration with Aker BP, once again, our solid operational performance leads to contract prolongment,” expressed Gitte Gard Talmo, who holds the positions of CEO and President at Eidesvik Offshore.

This week, Eidesvik finalized a three-year extension to its ship management contract with the Belgian marine contractor DEME for the Viking Neptun CSV.
