The Port of Antwerp-Bruges reported a fire incident at the MSC PSA European Terminal (MPET), quay 1742.
On June 24 at 05:30 (local time), the Belgian port announced that terminal operations were temporarily halted due to a container fire, resulting in a blockage of shipping traffic at Deurganckdok.
After an hour and a half, shipping traffic resumed as firefighters successfully controlled the fire and relocated the container to a safe area.
In the latest update, the port emphasized, "Everyone involved is now making every effort to restart all activities as soon as possible."
