A collision between the cargo ship Lumoso Harmoni and the bulk carrier Pancaran Glory occurred on January 24 at Muara Sampara Morosi Port in Indonesia.

The incident took place at 6:53 PM WITA as the Lumoso Harmoni, aided by three tugboats, was maneuvering to dock at the port’s jetty. During the process, the vessel reportedly struck the starboard side of the Pancaran Glory, causing damage to the bulwark and bulbous bow of the vessel. No injuries were reported.

Preliminary inspections revealed a 2.92-meter-long scratch above the waterline on the Pancaran Glory. While visual assessments of the upper hull have been completed, underwater surveys are still pending. Divers are expected to examine the area to check for possible deformation or leaks.

Authorities have implemented safety precautions to secure the vessel while investigations continue to determine the cause of the collision and assign responsibility.
