American Cruise Lines Launches Mississippi Season with Football

American Cruise Lines is starting its 2025 Mississippi River season with a football-themed event in New Orleans this week.

Big Game Travel has chartered two of American’s Mississippi riverboats—American Melody and American Serenade—to accommodate guests who purchased exclusive three- and four-night packages for this weekend’s major football event in New Orleans.

Passengers will enjoy private balcony accommodations, welcome receptions, fine dining, and private transportation to the Superdome as part of their premium experience.

Following the kickoff events, American Cruise Lines will continue offering Mississippi River cruises through December, with trips ranging from eight to 51 days, covering 10 states between New Orleans and St. Paul.
