Ambassador Hosts Travel Agents on Norway Fjordlands Cruise
After unveiling its 2024 FAM trip program earlier this year, Ambassador Cruise Line recently invited 12 travel agents aboard the Ambience for a firsthand experience of the ship and a tour of Norway’s fjordlands, according to a press release.
The eight-night voyage departed from the London Cruise Terminal on Sunday, July 14, and was led by Deputy Head of Trade Karen Cameron and Business Development Manager for Groups Alan Rennie. The agents were treated to what the cruise line describes as the ‘warmest welcome at sea.’
Cameron expressed, “We appreciate all the incredible work our key agent partners do for us, therefore we wanted to showcase our thanks by inviting them onboard Ambience, our first lady of the sea. Agents were educated about our unique product and shown the best of what Ambassador has to offer. Our team had a great time showcasing our offering to our agent friends as they ‘enjoyed themselves’ on this unique Ambassador sailing.”
The cruise itinerary included stops at Haugesund, Geiranger, Olden, Flam, and Bergen. During the trip, guests had the opportunity to savor Ambience’s cuisine, enjoy onboard entertainment, and participate in various destination excursions.
Participants included representatives from Hays Travel, Ponders Travel, IGLU, Newmarket Holidays, East of England Co-op, Midcounties Co-op, YHB, Premier Travel, and Club Voyages.
Initial invitations for this FAM trip were extended to the cruise line’s key agent partners. As part of ongoing trade engagement efforts, over 60 agent partners will be invited aboard the Ambience and Ambition between July and September this year.
