Singapore-based offshore support vessel (OSV) operator Vallianz has fallen victim to a cyberattack, which granted unauthorized access to its servers.

After identifying the ransomware attack, Vallianz and its parent company, Rawabi Holding Company Limited, acted swiftly to address the situation. They enlisted external experts, initiated containment measures, and activated the company’s business continuity plan.

The incident was promptly reported to the appropriate authorities. According to a preliminary review, the company stated that “there has been no significant impact to its business operations arising from the incident.”

Investigations are still underway, and Vallianz is continuing to assess the full scope of the situation. The company has assured stakeholders that it will share updates if any significant developments occur.

In the interim, Vallianz has advised shareholders to proceed cautiously when trading its shares, as actions may inadvertently affect their interests.

A similar cyber incident recently impacted another Singaporean company, PSC Corp, a producer of food and consumer goods. However, PSC Corp reported that “the impact on the group’s operations was minimal.”
