Job Information Job Description Ship fitters may have a variety of duties, including: Structural repair Cutting and attaching large sheets of metal for the hull, marking holes for drilling, installing packing and gaskets, and tacking and welding clips and brackets Fabrication Preparing molds and templates for non-standard parts, rolling, bending, cutting, and shaping plates, beams, and other heavy metal parts Maintenance Maintaining parts of the engine and other electrical components in the engine room Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS FITTER WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  Benefits JOB EMPLOYMENT
