The Island Princess is gearing up for an exciting summer season in the Mediterranean, completing Princess Cruises’ impressive five-ship fleet in Europe. The ship is slated to arrive in Barcelona on August 5, 2024.

Launched in 2003, the Island Princess will embark on a series of ten-night cruises exploring both the Eastern and Western Mediterranean. The first itinerary of the season will take passengers to Civitavecchia, with stops in Spain, Italy, France, and the UK.

Classic ports of call include Marseille, Gibraltar, and Málaga, while smaller, more unique destinations such as Ibiza, Portofino, and St. Tropez add an extra touch of adventure.

Running through early December, the European program also features an additional nine sailings in the region.

Starting in mid-August, the 1,950-passenger ship will offer cruises to the Eastern Mediterranean and the Adriatic Sea. Departing from Civitavecchia, Trieste, and Piraeus, these itineraries will cover various destinations in Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, Malta, Cyprus, and Turkey.

Highlights include visits to Sicily, Corsica, and the Greek Islands, with stops in Palermo, Cagliari, and Santorini, among others.

Before relocating to North America, the Island Princess will offer a special ten-night cruise to the Mediterranean and the Adriatic, including a visit to Tunisia. This itinerary also features stops in Italy, Montenegro, Greece, and Croatia, offering a mix of well-known and off-the-beaten-path destinations.

After crossing the Atlantic in early December, the ship will offer a 14-night cruise to the Caribbean before embarking on Princess Cruises’ 2025 World Cruise. This 116-night journey will set sail from Fort Lauderdale in early January, visiting 51 destinations across 26 countries on six continents.

Regions covered during the World Cruise include the Caribbean, Panama Canal, West Coast, Hawaii, South Pacific, Australia, Indian Ocean, Africa, and the Mediterranean.
