Celebrity Cruises Drops Labadee Stops Through 2025 - 2026

Celebrity Cruises has announced the removal of several scheduled calls to Labadee, Haiti, from its itineraries between April 2025 and April 2026.
The change affects at least ten voyages aboard Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Beyond, according to notifications sent to impacted passengers.
“To provide you with a better experience, we have made the decision to cancel our visit to Labadee, Haiti,” the cruise line stated in a letter to guests.
“Instead, we’ll visit Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM,” the message continued.
The update affects eight Celebrity Apex sailings departing between December 2025 and April 2026, and two Celebrity Beyond cruises scheduled for April and August 2025.
Most of the revised itineraries now feature a stop in Grand Turk in place of Labadee, while others include a call at George Town, Grand Cayman. Many of these Western Caribbean cruises will also include a visit to Cozumel, Mexico.
Originally, these ships were slated to stop in Labadee during Eastern Caribbean itineraries that also included destinations like Puerto Plata and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Labadee had only recently returned to Royal Caribbean Group itineraries in October 2024 after a hiatus due to safety concerns in Haiti. Since then, Royal Caribbean International has resumed regular visits to the private destination, with ships such as Explorer of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, and Voyager of the Seas.
In April 2025, larger Oasis-class vessels including Oasis of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas are also expected to call at the port.
However, despite Labadee’s return to Royal Caribbean’s schedule, Celebrity Cruises has continued to scale back its planned stops at the Haitian destination. The cruise line had already removed several Celebrity Apex visits to Labadee for the 2024-25 winter season back in June 2024.
