During Norwegian Cruise Line’s 2026 summer season, the Norwegian Spirit will divide its time between three regions in the Pacific Ocean: the South Pacific, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Following a winter season in Australia and New Zealand, the ship—originally launched in 1999—will start its summer schedule on April 22, 2026.

The itinerary will feature a series of open-jaw cruises in the South Pacific, with departures from Sydney, Papeete, and Honolulu, as well as a new port of embarkation for Norwegian, Lautoka. These 11- and 13-day voyages, available until July 3, 2026, will explore destinations such as New Caledonia, Fiji, the Samoa Islands, French Polynesia, and Hawaii.

Later in the summer, from July through September 2026, the Norwegian Spirit will shift to Alaska and Hawaii, offering “Fire and Ice” itineraries. These 16-night voyages will depart from Honolulu or Vancouver and combine stops in both regions. Ports of call include Maui (Kahului), Hilo, Nawiliwili (Kauai), and Kailua Kona, as well as Alaskan destinations such as Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Skagway, Sitka, and Juneau.

These sailings are part of Norwegian Cruise Line’s newly announced itineraries for the summer of 2026. Alongside the Norwegian Spirit, other ships like the Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy, and Norwegian Jade will also sail in Alaska.

Norwegian’s 2026 summer schedule includes a strong European presence, with eight ships scheduled to sail to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. Additionally, the company will mark its return to Philadelphia after a 15-year absence, with the Norwegian Jewel offering cruises to Bermuda from the homeport.
