Job Overview
Duration: normally our Pilot/Mooring Masters work in 2 months on/off (+/- a couple of weeks). It may happen for a Pilot/Mooring Master to be asked to stay up to 3 months.
Salary during the training: USD 500,-/day
Salary after approval and taking over duties of a Pilot/Mooring Master independently: between USD 800,- and USD 850,-/d. A final offer is the terminal management’s discretion and will be made once the training has finished
Requirements:
Extensive ship handling experience as Master or Chief Officer
Minimum 5 years on tankers over 160,000 DWT
At least 3 years’ experience as Pilot / Docking Pilot / Mooring Master
Valid Chief Mate or Master (all ships) COC (UK, EU, or Apply via Maritime Zone
Oil Tanker Endorsement
Relevant STCW training and certification
ISPS training and certification
Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
Valid travel documents and driver’s license
Good command of English
Good computer skills
