Job Information Job Description Engine Room Housekeeping : This is the core of the job. Duties include sweeping, mopping, and degreasing floor plates, bulkheads, and machinery to prevent fire hazards and slips. Painting & Preservation : Chipping rust and applying heat-resistant paint to machinery, pipes, and the engine room structure to prevent corrosion. Assisting Engineers : Acts as an extra set of hands during machinery overhauls. This includes fetching tools, cleaning dismantled parts (like valves or cylinder heads), and helping move heavy spare parts. Waste Management : Managing the disposal of engine room waste, including oily rags and used filters, according to strict environmental laws. Learning Technical Skills : Under the supervision of the Oiler or an Engineer, a Wiper begins learning how to read gauges, monitor tank levels, and perform basic lubrication. Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS WIPER WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  Benefits JOB EMPLOYMENT
