Mooring and Anchoring: Assists with handling ropes and mooring lines during docking, undocking, and anchoring operations under senior supervision. Cargo Operations: Supports the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring goods are properly secured and lashed for transit. Watchkeeping and Lookout: Stands watch to identify navigational hazards, such as other vessels, debris, or changing weather conditions. Safety and Emergency Response: Participates in mandatory safety drills and maintains lifesaving equipment like life rafts and firefighting gear.
