Job Information Job Description Welding & Fabrication : Executes complex welding (MIG, TIG, SMAW) and cutting tasks to repair or recreate damaged metal parts, such as bulkheads, plates, and frames. Machinery Support : Assists in the major overhaul of pumps, motors, and auxiliary engines. This often involves using lathe machines to fabricate precision parts like bolts and flanges. Pipeline Maintenance : Repairs and maintains the ship's intricate network of fuel, water, and hydraulic pipes. Workshop Management : Acts as the "master" of the ship's workshop, maintaining all welding sets, grinders, and hand tools. Emergency Repairs : Provides immediate technical support during at-sea breakdowns to ensure the vessel remains seaworthy. Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS FITTER WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  Benefits Owner's Bonus
