Job Information Job Description Core Responsibilities The primary role of a Deckhand is to maintain the exterior of the yacht in "showroom" condition while ensuring the safety of the guests and crew. 1. Exterior Maintenance & Aesthetics 2. Deck Operations Tender Operations: Driving and maintaining tenders (small boats) and ensuring they are fueled and clean for guest use. Mooring & Anchoring: Handling lines and fenders during docking procedures and assisting with anchor deployment/retrieval. Watchkeeping: Assisting with navigation watches and maintaining a sharp lookout for hazards or other vessels. Painting/Varnishing: Assisting with minor paint touch-ups and maintaining brightwork (varnish) as directed by the Bosun or Chief Officer. Detailing: Waxing, teak cleaning/scrubbing, and ensuring all guest areas are spotless. Cleaning: Daily washing, chamois drying, and polishing of stainless steel, windows, and paintwork. Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS COOK ON YACHT VESSEL WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  REQUIRED CUISINE EXPERIENCE: MEDITTERANEAN Benefits JOB EMPLOYMENT
