Job Information Job Description Crew Supervision : Leads and directs Able Seamen (AB) and Ordinary Seamen (OS) in their daily tasks, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Deck Maintenance : Manages the upkeep of the ship's exterior, including chipping, painting, greasing, and cleaning. They also oversee the maintenance of the hull, rigging, and specialized deck equipment. Mooring & Anchoring : Directly supervises the crew during docking and undocking. They operate critical machinery like the windlass and ensure all mooring lines are secure. Safety Compliance : Enforces the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensures all safety protocols are followed on deck. They play a lead role in fire and abandon ship drills, often assisting in the preparation of lifeboats. Inventory Management : Responsible for the "Bosun's Store," managing tools, paint, ropes, and spare parts to ensure the deck department has what it needs. Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS BOSUN WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  Benefits JOB EMPLOYMENT
