Job Information Job Description Primary Responsibilities Cargo Management : Oversees the entire cargo operation, including planning, loading, stowage, and discharging at ports. This includes ensuring cargo gears are well-maintained. Ship Stability : Responsible for calculating and maintaining the ship's stability, trim, and stress limits through ballast and de-ballasting operations. Safety Leadership : Acts as the ship's Safety Officer , ensuring all life-saving appliances (LSA) and firefighting appliances (FFA) are in excellent condition and conducting regular drills. Deck Maintenance : Supervises the maintenance of the ship's hull, accommodation areas, and deck machinery like cranes and hatch covers. Crew Supervision : Manages the deck crew, including scheduling workloads, distributing daily tasks, and ensuring crew welfare and training. Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS CHIEF OFFICER WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  Benefits JOB EMPLOYMENT
