Job Information Job Description Primary Responsibilities Machinery Operation & Maintenance : Overseeing the main propulsion engine, auxiliary engines (generators), boilers, and critical systems like pumps and refrigeration. Fuel & Energy Management : Monitoring fuel and lubricating oil consumption, managing bunker quantities, and planning bunkering operations. Regulatory Compliance : Ensuring the ship meets international standards such as SOLAS (safety) and MARPOL (pollution prevention), specifically regarding emissions and waste management. Technical Safety : Functioning as the designated Environmental Control Officer (ECO) and managing equipment like the Oily Water Separator (OWS) and incinerator. Inventory & Budgeting : Managing the department's budget, maintaining an inventory of spare parts, and coordinating with shore-based management for major repairs or dry-docking. Skills and Qualifications: AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS CHIEF ENGINEER WITH OR WITHOUT VALID US VISA  HOLDING VALID DOCUMENTS  MUST HAVE ME ENGINE EXPERIENCE Benefits JOB EMPLOYMENT
