Europe-Africa Services Upgraded by CMA CGM

The Marseille-based shipping company CMA CGM has announced updates to its EURAF services, aiming to enhance its offerings in the African region.

Starting in May, the company will incorporate Sierra Leone and Gabon into the route of its EURAF 4 service. Additionally, the EURAF 5 service will expand its reach to include both Central and Southern West African ports.

The modified EURAF 4 route will follow a 42-day cycle, with stops at the following ports: Valencia (Spain), Algeciras (Spain), Tanger Med (Morocco), Freetown (Sierra Leone), Lome (Togo), Bata (Equatorial Guinea), Malabo (Equatorial Guinea), Kribi (Cameroon), and Libreville (Gabon). This updated service will start its journey from Valencia on May 10.

Similarly, the EURAF 5 service will operate on a 42-day rotation, serving ports in Tanger Med (Morocco), Algeciras (Spain), Tema (Ghana), Lekki (Nigeria), Cotonou (Benin), Pointe Noire (Republic of the Congo), and Luanda (Angola). The inaugural voyage of this revised service is scheduled to depart from Tanger Med on May 2.
