The maritime powerhouses COSCO from China and CNC, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group known for its expertise in intra-Asia short sea routes, have finalized a vessel-sharing partnership for operations between China and the Philippines.
Under this collaboration, the China Philippines 8 (CP8) route will be serviced by two vessels, each boasting a capacity of 2,800 TEUs. The arrangement involves each entity contributing one container ship to the operation.
The weekly CP8 service will navigate the following ports in a set rotation: starting from Fuqing, China, it will proceed to Shanghai, then to Ningbo and Xiamen in China, followed by stops at Manila North and Manila South in the Philippines, before circling back to Fuqing, China.
