Carnival Pride Departs on 14-Night Panama Canal Cruise
The Carnival Pride has set sail from Baltimore on a 14-night voyage to the Panama Canal and Central America. This special itinerary, part of Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Journeys program, departed Maryland on January 12, 2025.
During the journey, the Carnival Pride will make stops in the Bahamas, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Panama, and Turks & Caicos before returning to its homeport.
A key highlight of the trip is a visit to Colón, providing passengers with the opportunity to explore the Panama Canal and its iconic locks.
In addition to the scenic Caribbean cruising days, the ship is scheduled to stop in Ocho Rios, Puerto Limón, and Grand Turk. Guests will also enjoy a visit to Half Moon Cay, Carnival Corporation’s private island in the Bahamas.
Carnival Journeys cruises are described as extended itineraries that explore lesser-visited destinations. According to the cruise line, these voyages offer unique onboard experiences and a “classic cruising feel.”
At the end of January, the Carnival Pride will return to its regular schedule, offering seven-night cruises to destinations in the Bahamas. These itineraries include visits to Nassau, Freeport, and private islands like Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays. Some sailings will also include Grand Turk.
Starting in May, the ship will add seven-night Bermuda cruises to its schedule, featuring overnight stays at King’s Wharf.
Additional Carnival Journeys itineraries for 2025 include two 14-night cruises to Greenland and Canada, scheduled for May and August. In November, the ship will embark on a 14-night voyage through the Southern Caribbean, with stops at St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Aruba, Curaçao, and Grand Turk.
The Carnival Pride’s schedule for January 2026 also features another two-week cruise to the Panama Canal and Central America, mirroring this year’s itinerary.
